October 7th Community Commemoration–Marking One Year
On Monday, October 7th, at 7:30 pm, the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center will host a community gathering to commemorate the one-year mark of the attacks on Israel. All are welcome to join us for prayer, song and stories as we mourn and remember.
We will comfort each other as we mourn the deaths and kidnappings of Israelis, migrant workers, and IDF soldiers.
We will pray for the release of hostages, for the healing of all Israelis who live with the consequences of this attack, and for the healing of all who have suffered the trauma of violence.
And we will pray for a future of peace, security and freedom for all who live on the land.
This is a Hybrid event. Registration is required for both in-person and Zoom attendance.
